Cutter Associates LLC seeking a Senior Research Analyst, in Europe, to be an integral part of our Global Investment Management Research and Benchmarking Team. Cutter Associates is searching for an experienced, in-market Senior Consultant with deep knowledge of the investment management end to end workflow, who can play a lead role in consulting execution in the Australian market. We provide consulting services to the Investment Management industry, in the areas of Operating Model Design, Front, Middle & Back Office solutions & sourcing, implementation support and operational efficiency.
Cutter is an established global firm, supporting over 200 investment management firms, both for-profit and public, through a powerful combination of three interrelated services: Consulting, Benchmarking, and Research. Cutter supports Investment Managers & Superannuation clients to define and execute on transformational programs to address existing challenges and future proof their business.
Having been active in the Australian market for two plus years, Cutter has seen a quick uptake in its services by the market’s largest firms, with further demand being initiated by those clients. We recently opened an office in Sydney to continue building the local business to meet client needs.
As part of this role, the Senior Consultant would execute on consulting engagements covering Investment Operating Model design, System or Service Provider Selection, Project Management to support Implementation of systems or service providers as well as Data Management, and Data warehousing in existing accounts.
There is also the potential to take on the broader role of building and leading a team as we expand into Asia, but for now we have consulting opportunities in Australia and need strong candidates who can work with us independently.

Cutter Associates LLC is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for its growing Implementation Services practice. The Business Analyst’s primary objective is to help our clients implement investment management technology solutions in a cost-effective way using a variety of analysis techniques and project delivery practices.
Candidates can either be based in the continental U.S. and should have should have at least five years of financial services business analysis experience with exposure to any of the following business processes within Investment Operations:
Familiarity with investment management vendor applications is desired (E.g. Aladdin, Bloomberg AIM, Charles River IMS, LineData, Eagle Star/Pace, Market EDM/Cadis, BI-SAM, SimCorp Dimension).
Candidates should have experience analyzing business processes, developing business and functional requirements, functional testing and working as part of both agile and non-agile software development teams.
