Nov 25, 2025 – (Rockland, MA) – Cutter Associates, a global consultancy and research firm serving the operational, technology, and client communication needs of the investment management industry, just concluded its Cutter Connect 2025 series of member events. Meetings were held in Sydney, Australia, Charleston, South Carolina, and London, United Kingdom to make attendance accessible for firms and professionals located around the world.
This year’s annual event drew more than 300 professionals including CTOs, CIOs, CDOs, Heads of Distribution, Heads of Client Service and Operations, Digital Strategy Managers, Investment Operations and Technology Managers, and more from over 100 investment management firms, insurance companies, and public funds. Cutter research analysts presented new research findings on AI governance, investment management platforms, retail SMAs, investment data platforms, asset allocation and a total portfolio view, and the changing role of IT organizations. Cutter consultants shared their insights on challenges and emerging trends based on hands-on experience and collaboration with firms spanning the globe.
“For more than 25 years, Cutter has offered these exclusive events to our research members and consulting clients to bring like-minded firms and professionals together for learning and networking,” said Gina McCafferty, Head of Cutter Research. “Firms are eager to hear about emerging industry trends impacting their operations, new vendor solutions available, and what other firms are doing. These meetings provide a forum for sharing and connecting, which our members and clients find invaluable.”
This year’s flagship North America meeting, in Charleston, South Carolina, expanded to offer three meeting tracks to allow attendees to customize their experience and choose between sessions focused on driving front-to-back transformation, managing clients’ evolving expectations, and modernizing data management to enable business innovation. The event also featured a keynote address from former Saturday Night Live producer, Lindsay Shookus, to share her experience on making connections and establishing trust to meet intense deadlines and achieve desired outcomes. In addition, pre-event invite-only roundtables for public funds and C-suite executives offered a rare opportunity to connect and learn from peers.
“The Cutter Connect annual membership meetings have continued to grow in scope, depth, and popularity over Cutter’s 25-year history,” said Cindy Castellano, CEO of Cutter Associates. “These events provide a level of connectivity and exclusivity, combined with the insights and perspectives from both research analysts and consultants that investment management professionals can’t get elsewhere.”
Cutter Connect will continue in 2026, with meetings to be held in Scottsdale, Arizona, Sydney, Australia, and London, United Kingdom. Cutter will announce the dates in early 2026.
