Multi-asset class strategies continue to evolve, making asset allocation and total portfolio analysis increasingly more complex. For many firms that lack the proper analysis, planning, and implementation tools, asset allocation and a total portfolio view (TPV) remain a work in progress. In this research, we investigate how asset managers and asset owners are enhancing risk and liquidity management in strategies that integrate both public and private assets. Our research also examines the implications of a total portfolio approach (TPA) for asset owners.
