Having spent more than two decades working with financial services technology across
three continents and seven countries, Aidan Cahalane knows what truly drives innovation
and continuous improvement. In his current role leading asset management strategic
solutions at Swiss Re, Aidan is a proponent of Lean methodology and Agile principles.
His favorite questions are, “Why are we doing this?” and “Does it make sense?”. Aidan joined Swiss Re in 2004. Previously, Aidan worked as an External Consultant at BNP Paribas Securities and Allianz. He began his career at Dresdner Kleinwort. Aidan holds a B.Sc in Finance from Queen's University, Belfast.
Claire Lindsey joined the Performance and Reporting team for Arch Investment Management (AIM), a subsidiary of Arch Capital Group, Limited (ACGL), in 2013. She now heads the team, overseeing the calculation and internal reporting of performance and analytics across Fixed Income, Equities, and Alternatives/Private Equity. She also oversees creation of internal performance reporting to management, the Board of Directors, and other ACGL entities. Claire was instrumental in the replacement of AIM’s Accounting services in 2016, and she continues to drive improvements to accounting, performance, and attribution. She is currently focused on driving the implementation of modern technologies and processes that reduce errors and ensure the consistency of data used in AIM’s analytics. Prior to joining AIM, Claire was with KPMG in their financial services practice. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Claire obtained a B.Com Accounting and Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town, and in 2011 she qualified as a Chartered Accountant with SAICA.
Maureen Ondek serves Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) in Boston as a vice president and project manager for Digital Transformation Systems in the Innovation Lab. She joined BBH in 2007, serving in the Fund Administration product group before moving to the technology side of Fund Administration as part of Systems. Maureen has also managed an internal data lineage project as part of the Compliance Systems group. Before joining BBH, she worked in Financial Reporting at Eaton Vance, State Street Bank, and Investors Bank & Trust. Maureen has a B.S. degree in Finance from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an M.B.A. from Salem State University.
As Director of Business Process Architecture at Manulife, Jeanne Oppenheim leads
development and maintenance of all target state business processes within Investment
Operations and Finance. Jeanne and her team work closely with data design, business
process and work stream leads of transformation programs. Prior to joining Manulife in
2017, Jeanne spent 10 years leading Investment Operations and Digital teams at RBC
Insurance and BMO Financial Group.
